Grind Apply — the agent that applies with you

Watch your AI agent apply.
You approve every submission.

The web version builds your career record and tailors your story for free. The desktop app adds the live agent: it fills real application forms in front of you and stops at every checkpoint.

You approve every submission · your data stays on your machine · no auto-submit, ever.

Grind Apply

Demo: the agent fills a Greenhouse application form field by field in a mirrored browser while an event trace logs each match with its confidence. When it drafts a free-text answer, the run pauses as blocked-on-user and a checkpoint sheet asks you to approve the draft before it is typed. Nothing proceeds without your click.

How it works

Four steps, and the two that matter most are yours: the record you verify and the submissions you approve.

  1. transcript.pdf6 proposals
    Distributed Systems — A✓ accepted
    Algorithms — A-✓ accepted
    Intro to Marketing — B+rejected

    1Ingest your files

Drop in resumes, transcripts, certificates. Extraction proposes individual entries — a transcript becomes courses — and you accept or reject each one.

    2The agent fills the form

A real browser navigates the posting and matches fields against your verified record, streaming every step to the live event trace.

  3. Salary question — your call

    3You approve checkpoints

Salary, self-identification, drafted answers, anything uncertain — the run blocks and waits for your call. Always.

    4Submit & track

After your final review, the app submits, verifies the confirmation page, and files the application on your dashboard.

Two ways in. One honest split.

The web version is the workspace. The desktop app is the agent. Here is exactly where the line sits.

Web — free, sign up

  • Master career record — every fact one verifiable entry
  • File ingestion: transcripts become individual courses you review
  • Tailored resume generation with the selection panelsoon
  • Application tracking dashboard

Explicitly: no agent and no auto-fill on the web — you download the tailored resume and apply yourself.

Desktop — download

  • Everything in web, plus the live agent:
  • Watches-you-apply browser with a live mirrored view
  • Event trace of every field match, with confidence
  • Checkpoints for salary, self-ID, drafts — and the final review
  • One-click apply from any supported posting

Runs on your machine — your job-site logins and files never touch our servers.

Fair questions

Does it apply without me?

No. Every submission requires your approval on a final-review screen that lists each field and its source — there is no auto-submit mode, and salary and self-identification questions always pause for you even before that. If you close the review, nothing is sent.

Where do my documents live?

Desktop: on your machine — profile, files and history sit in a local database, your API key in the OS keychain, and the agent's browser downloads and LLM calls are its only network traffic. Web: on our servers, deletable anytime from your account.

Will sites ban me for using this?

Honest answer: automated form-filling may violate some sites' terms of service. The desktop agent runs in a browser on your machine under your own session, fills forms at a human pace, and every submission is one you personally approved — but the risk is not zero and we won't pretend it is. Read our automation policy before deciding.

Which job sites does it support?

Greenhouse and Lever have dedicated, tested adapters. With an Anthropic API key configured, the AI pipeline attempts other application forms too — best-effort, with the same checkpoint rules. When the agent isn't confident about a field, it asks you instead of guessing.

What does it cost?

Free during beta — the web version and the desktop download. If you enable the AI pipeline you bring your own Anthropic API key and pay Anthropic directly for what you use. Pricing for anything beyond that will be published before beta ends, not sprung on you.

Can it solve CAPTCHAs or log in for me?

No. CAPTCHAs and multi-factor prompts are checkpoints: the run pauses and you solve them yourself in the agent's browser window. Your logins stay in that browser's profile on your machine.
